What does this all mean?

In conclusion, physics is what controls the nervous system. Before doing my research, i thought of the nervous system as just a connection of electrical impulses and exachange of ions but there is MORE! The ability for us to be able to hear is controlled by waves that transfer energy into different forms. An interruption to the electrical circuits can cause damage to how an electrical impulse is sent to the brain or even to how we walk, talk, and do our daily activities. Now I have a better understanding in the relationship between our sense of smell and taste. In my opinion, these two senses are so closely related that when one is affected the other will be affected as well so therefore it is very difficult to have one without the other.

My only question is when you touch something, are you really physically having contact or are there atoms in between yourself and the object?  It is all QUANTUM MECHANICS!!!!
